A successful press conference was held yesterday, October 1 (Wednesday), for the highly anticipated new season of Your Face Sounds Familiar, the weekend comedy-talent show produced by ABS-CBN Studios.
In attendance were the show’s new hosts, It’s Showtime mainstays Vhong Navarro and Jhong Hilario, as well as several of the celebrity performers including Jason Dy, Pepe Herrera, Alexa Ilacad, and Rufa Mae Quinto.
Navarro and Hilario openly acknowledged the pressure of stepping into the roles previously filled by seasoned hosts Billy Crawford and Luis Manzano.
“Opo, kasi napakahusay ni Luis at Billy mag-host talaga. Saludo kami sa kanila… But we’re very thankful to ABS-CBN for giving us another break to host in primetime,” Navarro shared.
For his part, Hilario added, “We’re very grateful to ABS-CBN for trusting us. As Kuys Vhong said, we’re not here to match what they did, we just want to bring joy to the viewers.”
The celebrity performers also promised an exciting season filled with memorable and entertaining performances every week.
Your Face Sounds Familiar premieres this Saturday and Sunday, October 4 and 5, on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z, and TV5.
