SINGSON ON ALLEGED SEDITION: “LAHAT NG SINASABI NILA PURO KALOKOHAN”

Former Ilocos Sur Governor Chavit Singson broke his silence following reports that he could face sedition charges for allegedly inciting a revolution against corruption.

In an interview with the media on Sunday, October 5, Singson said he is ready to face imprisonment if the accusations against him prove to be true.

However, the former governor did not specify who he was referring to with his “asong ulol” comment.

Earlier, Malacañang said that it expects the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Philippine National Police (PNP), and Department of Justice (DOJ) to investigate Singson’s alleged call for the youth to rise up against corruption.
