ICI SEEKS IMMIGRATION LOOKOUT BULLETIN FOR OFFICIALS LINKED TO FLOOD CONTROL SCAM

The Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) has requested the Department of Justice (DOJ) to issue an Immigration Lookout Bulletin Order (ILBO) against several lawmakers and government contractors allegedly involved in anomalous flood control projects.

In a formal letter addressed to DOJ Secretary and newly appointed Ombudsman Jesus Crispin “Boying” Remulla, the ICI sought the immediate issuance of lookout orders for the following individuals:

  • Former House Speaker and Leyte 1st District Representative Ferdinand Martin Romualdez
  • Senator Chiz Escudero
  • Senator Jinggoy Estrada
  • Senate Deputy Minority Leader Joel Villanueva
  • Former Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr.
  • Former Senator and now Makati City Mayor Nancy Binay
  • Commission on Audit (COA) Commissioner Mario Lipana
  • Marilou Laurio-Lipana
  • Undersecretary Trygve Olaivar
  • Carlene Villa
  • Maynard Ngu
  • Pasig City Representative Roman Romulo
  • Congressman James Ang
  • Quezon City Representative Patrick Michael Vargas
  • Quezon City Representative Arjo Atayde
  • Congressman Nicanor Briones
  • Marikina City Representative Marcy Teodoro
  • Congresswoman Rida Robes
  • Congressman Eleandro Madrona
  • Congressman Bejie Agarao
  • Former Congressman Bem Noel
  • Congressman Ode Tarriela
  • Congressman Reynan Arogancia
  • Former Congressman Marvin Rillo

The letter was signed by ICI Chairman retired Justice Andres Reyes Jr. on Wednesday, October 8.

The Commission said the request was made to prevent any of the named individuals from leaving the country while the investigation into the alleged irregularities remains ongoing.
