Senate Deputy Majority Leader Risa Hontiveros remains the most trusted lawmaker among senators elected in the 2022 elections, according to the latest PAHAYAG 3rd Quarter 2025 Survey conducted by Publicus Asia, Inc.
Based on the survey conducted from September 27 to 30, 2025, with 1,500 respondents nationwide, 52% of Filipinos expressed trust in Hontiveros — the highest among her batchmates in the Senate.
Hontiveros was followed by Senator Raffy Tulfo with 41%, and Senator Loren Legarda with 38%.
Meanwhile, former Senate President Chiz Escudero, Senator Joel Villanueva, Senator Mark Villar, and Senator Jinggoy Estrada ranked as the least trusted senators, based on the same survey.

The survey was conducted amid ongoing Senate and Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) investigations into alleged ₱1-trillion flood control anomalies, as well as nationwide protests against corruption held last September 21.
Notably, the names of Escudero, Villanueva, and Zubiri have been dragged into reports of alleged kickbacks from questionable flood control projects, while Villar is facing scrutiny over irregularities within the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) during his tenure as secretary under the Duterte administration.
