BONG GO HITS BACK AT FLOOD CONTROL SCANDAL LINK: “WALA AKONG KINALAMAN SA MGA DISCAYA”

Senator Bong Go firmly denied allegations linking him to alleged corruption and irregularities in flood control projects, particularly those involving the couple Sarah and Curlee Discaya, who were recently mentioned in reports.

Go was categorical in distancing himself from the issue, saying he has never met nor dealt with the Discayas in any capacity.

“Hindi ko po kilala ang mga Discaya, wala po akong kinalaman sa kanila at wala po akong pakialam sa mga Discaya,” Go stated.

The senator also welcomed any formal probe into the matter, asserting that transparency and truth will clear his name.

“I welcome any investigation. Let the facts speak for themselves. Wala akong tinatago, wala akong kinatatakutan dahil wala akong kasalanan. Hindi ako sangkot sa anumang anomalya,” he added.

Go emphasized that investigators should focus on identifying the real individuals behind the alleged irregularities instead of diverting attention toward baseless accusations.

“Dapat tumbukin ang tunay na nasa likod ng anomalya at huwag ilihis ang isyu,” he stressed.

Earlier, Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Vince Dizon announced that the agency would look into the possible connection between the Discayas and CLTG Builders, a company allegedly linked to Go’s family.

The senator, however, maintained that he has no involvement in any public works transactions and called on authorities to pursue an impartial and fact-based investigation to put the controversy to rest.
