The Alphaland Baguio Mountain Lodges (ABML) has clarified that Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero does not own any property within its luxury residential estate in Itogon, Benguet.
In a statement sent, ABML management said that while it does not publicly disclose its list of residents for privacy and security reasons, it has verified that no home is registered under the name of Escudero or any company linked to him.
“ABML, like any other residential village in the country, does not divulge a list of its residents or homeowners. However, we are able to confirm that there is no home listed as owned by Sen. Chiz Escudero or any company associated with him,” the company said.
The management added that Escudero and his family are only occasional visitors to the property — a fact visible in various social media posts — but clarified that such visits do not equate to ownership.
“We are aware that he and his family are occasional visitors to the property, as can be gleaned from numerous social media posts by various parties. Mrs. Escudero, being a long-time member of Alphaland Balesin Island Club, is allowed the privilege to use the facilities of ABML,” the official explained.
The Alphaland Baguio Mountain Lodges is an exclusive mountain residential development by Alphaland Corporation, known for its premium lodges and scenic views. It is a sister property of the Alphaland Balesin Island Club located in Quezon province.
According to Escudero’s 2024 Statement of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth (SALN), the senator has no declared ownership or interest in Alphaland or in any real estate property in Baguio or Benguet.
The clarification from ABML comes amid speculation over the senator’s alleged property holdings in the high-end mountain estate.
