After years of working across major networks, veteran TV director and talent manager Johnny Manahan, more popularly known in the entertainment industry as Mr. M, has officially sealed his status as a “Kapatid.”
This Thursday, November 6, Mr. M formally signed with MQuest Ventures and MQuest Artists Agency (MQAA) — marking his official transfer to TV5.
Mr. M is no stranger to the Kapatid Network. He previously served as the director of the 2020 Sunday noontime show “Sunday Noontime Live (SNL)”, a co-production of TV5 and Brightlight Productions. He also currently serves as the Creative Director of the Kapatid music countdown show “VIBE.”
Before his stint with TV5, Mr. M spent several decades under ABS-CBN, where he built and managed the careers of some of the country’s biggest stars through Star Magic. He left the Kapamilya Network in 2020, months after the House of Representatives denied its franchise renewal during the administration of former President Rodrigo Duterte.
Following his time with TV5, Mr. M crossed over to GMA Network in 2021, where he served as a consultant for Sparkle, the network’s talent management arm — a role he held until 2025.
Now, his homecoming to the Kapatid Network signals a new chapter in his storied career — one that continues to shape and inspire generations of Filipino artists.
