The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) reported a 49% increase in net income to ₱14.32 billion from January to September this year, up from ₱9.63 billion in the same period of 2024. The growth was fueled by strong gaming revenues and stricter fiscal management.
Total revenues rose 5.9% to ₱84.09 billion, with ₱75.93 billion generated from gaming operations. PAGCOR Chairperson and CEO Alejandro Tengco credited the agency’s performance to ongoing reforms and modernization initiatives.
“Our financial gains reflect PAGCOR’S renewed focus on modernization and transparency,” Tengco said.
Nation-building contributions climbed to ₱54.26 billion, including ₱36.06 billion remitted to the national government. PAGCOR also paid ₱3.79 billion in franchise taxes and ₱609.87 million in corporate income taxes.
The agency allotted ₱11 billion for socio-civic projects such as the President’s Social Fund and ₱1.8 billion to the Philippine Sports Commission, while ₱508.2 million was shared with local governments hosting Casino Filipino branches.
“Every peso that PAGCOR earns goes back to the people through classrooms, health facilities, and community projects,” Tengco added.
PAGCOR said it remains focused on sustaining its growth momentum while ensuring responsible gaming practices across the industry.
