DOH PREPARES ₱10M WORTH OF MEDICAL SUPPLIES AHEAD OF TYPHOON UWAN

The Department of Health (DOH) has readied more than ₱10 million worth of medical supplies across various regions in Luzon that are expected to be affected by Typhoon Uwan.

The prepositioned supplies include medicine for cough and fever, antibiotics, maintenance drugs, hygiene kits, and potable water.

Also prepared are CAMPOLAS kits, which contain Cotrimoxazole, Amoxicillin, Mefenamic Acid, Paracetamol, Oral Rehydration Salts, Lagundi, Vitamin A, and skin ointments for emergency use.

Health Emergency Response Teams (HERTs) and DOH-managed hospitals are on standby for immediate deployment to affected areas.

The DOH also urged the public to follow safety protocols and prepare emergency kits as part of disaster readiness measures.
