ZALDY CO PROMISES MORE REVELATIONS ON FLOOD CONTROL CONTROVERSY

Former House Appropriations Chair and Ako Bicol Partylist Representative Zaldy Co vowed to disclose more information on the flood control controversy, saying the alleged ₱100-billion project insertions ordered by President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. are only the beginning.

In a new video posted on social media, Co said, “Una pa lang ito sa mga gusto kong ibunyag, marami pa akong dadalhin sa liwanag,” adding that issues involving former Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Bulacan 1st District Engineer Henry Alcantara and the so-called DPWH boys were larger than initially reported.

He insisted the actual amount involved was ₱56 billion, claiming, “Ang totoong numero ay ₱56 billion at yun pong halaga na yan ay kay Pangulong Bongbong Marcos at Martin Romualdez napunta lahat.”

Co promised to release full details in the coming days and appealed for patience, expressing fear for his safety.

“Konting pasensya pa po… sana po ay hindi nila ako mapatay bago ko mailabas ang lahat,” he said, apologizing to the public and his family.

Co reiterated he did not benefit from the ₱100-billion transactions, saying the funds only “passed through” him for delivery to former House Speaker and Leyte 1st District Representative Ferdinand Martin Romualdez and Marcos.

He expects more charges and threats as a result of his disclosures, citing past warnings allegedly made by Romualdez.

According to Co, “March 2025 pa lang si Speaker ay nagpaparinig na sa akin… that he will shoot me if I will talk,” and later told him that returning home “will be dangerous” due to possible harm or a “rubout.”

Co said he remains prepared to face the consequences as he continues revealing what he claims to know.
