With just 33 days to Christmas, the 51st edition of the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) is set to kick off, following the release of official trailers, posters, and promotional materials for its eight competing films.
On November 21, Regal Entertainment Inc. and Quantum Films unveiled posters for the horror-trilogy “Shake, Rattle and Roll: Evil Origins” and the family-drama “UnMarry.”
“Shake, Rattle and Roll: Evil Origins” stars an all-star cast including Richard Gutierrez, Carla Abellana, Ivana Alawi, and SRR legends Janice de Belen, Arlene Muhlach, and Manilyn Reynes, while “UnMarry” marks a reunion project featuring Angelica Panganiban and Zanjoe Marudo.
Reality MM Studios also released the official teaser for the family-drama “Rekonek,” starring the Legaspi family—Carmina, Zoren, Mavy, and Cassy Legaspi—alongside Gerald Anderson, Andrea Brillantes, and Bela Padilla.
Other films, including “Call Me Mother,” “Love You So Bad,” “Bar Boys After School,” “Manila’s Finest,” and “I’mperfect,” had previously launched trailers, teasers and posters.
The eight MMFF 2025 entries will be screened nationwide from December 25, 2025, to January 7, 2026.
