Vice President Sara Duterte gave a brief response regarding speculation about her potentially succeeding President Bongbong Marcos.
In a media interview on Sunday, November 23, VP Sara was asked about her readiness to assume the presidency.
“‘Yan ang hindi ko muna sasagutin,” she said. “Kasi magkakagulo tayo niyan.”
The remarks come amid recent protests by various groups calling for President Marcos to step down.
VP Sara also denied any involvement in an alleged destabilization plot reportedly funded by her.
“Kapag mayro’n kang alegasyon, wala kang ebidensya, ang tawag niyan ay tsismis o ang tawag sa ‘yo ay tsismosa,” she said.
Her statement came in response to a list released by journalist Mon Tulfo, which included her and her brother, Davao City 1st District Representative Paolo Duterte, as alleged financiers of a plan to remove the President.
