DAVAO CITY TURNS OVER TWO SERVICE VEHICLES TO MUSLIM AFFAIRS OFFICE

The local government of Davao City has provided two service vehicles to the Davao City Muslim Affairs Office as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance public services for the Muslim community.

In a Facebook post shared by the City Government of Davao on Monday, November 24, officials said the initiative aims to strengthen the city’s support programs for Muslim residents.

“The Davao City Muslim Affairs Office officially received two vehicles funded by the City Government of Davao, a patient transport vehicle and a multipurpose vehicle,” the LGU said in its post.

According to the city’s statement, the provision of the vehicles serves multiple purposes for community service.

“Head and Deputy Mayor Gabriel Nakan said that the purpose of providing one multi-purpose vehicle and one patient transport vehicle is to give quality service to our Muslim brothers and sisters. These vehicles can also be used to bring patients to the hospital and for emergency responses,” it added.

The Davao City LGU has also been actively publicizing its initiatives on disaster preparedness, tourism enhancement, and the adoption of digital record systems as part of its governance improvements.
