Known for his explosive voice and poetic lyrics, he made his debut with WANDS, releasing their first single ‘Loneliness is the Color of Autumn’ (寂しさは秋の色) in 1991. However, in 1996, due to creative differences, he left the band and its affiliated company, Being. Afterward, he formed the rock band al.ni.co with guitarist Hiroshi Shibasaki, and he is currently the lead singer of another rock band, Nekodamashi (猫骗).
