Mamamayang Liberal Partylist Representative Leila de Lima called on former Ako Bicol Representative Zaldy Co to formally present his allegations before proper authorities, stressing that evidence must be submitted under oath rather than through a series of online videos.
Co recently posted the second part of his latest video, claiming that President Bongbong Marcos was aware of the ₱100 billion budget insertions in the 2025 national allocation.
De Lima urged Co to return to the Philippines and testify properly.
“Kung talagang he has the truth… ay kailangang bumalik na siya dito at panindigan niya… ipresenta ng maayos sa tamang opisina or authority,” she said.
She warned that Co’s disclosures, delivered solely through videos, could fuel doubts about hidden motives.
De Lima added that some observers now view the videos as possible attempts to destabilize government.
“Ang nagiging impression ng iba is part of an agenda, yung mga destabilization… napaka-fragile pa po ng ating demokrasya,” she cautioned.
