The Party-list Coalition Foundation Inc. (PCFI) affirmed its support for House Speaker and Isabela 6th District Representative Bojie Dy as speculation swirls over a possible leadership shift in the House of Representatives.
In a manifesto, the group emphasized that the tense political atmosphere highlights the need for stability.
“As the nation faces divisiveness, the need for steady, unifying leadership in the House of Representatives has never been more critical,” the PCFI said, noting Dy’s efforts to promote dialogue and maintain a collaborative environment even during moments of strain.
The coalition described Dy as a “stabilizing and calming presence,” citing his focus on bridging differences rather than widening rifts.
It said its continued support “reflects our confidence in his ability to guide the House with fairness and transparency during a crucial period for our nation.”
The PCFI added that under Dy’s leadership, Congress can stay centered on reforms that uplift communities, protect democratic institutions, and advance the welfare of Filipino families.
“Transparency, institutional reform, and substantive legislation that puts the people first are the pathways to ensuring our ‘Bagong Pilipinas’,” the group said.
