VIBE wrapped up November with an electrifying celebration, delivering a night filled with music, energy, and the unmistakable spirit of Paskong Kapatid.
As the country’s favorite OPM music countdown, VIBE welcomed the holiday season with a vibrant showcase of performances from its Vibe Jocks and Gen V artists.
The show opened with a Christmas-themed production number featuring the Vibe Jocks and Gen Vs. Vibe Jock Dylan Menor set the tone with Bibingka, followed by an upbeat rendition of Ligaya from Vibe Jocks Joao and Kych together with Gen Vs Baileys, Adam, Mark Ian, and Niko. Gen V ladies Carmela and Selina gave a cool, heartfelt performance of SMP (Samahan Ng Malamig Ang Pasko), while Vibe Jocks Ryle and Paulo brought the Christmas hype with Maligayang Pasko.
The opening wrapped with Vibe Jock Ana, Joao, and the whole Vibe family performing Christmas Party, signaling the start of a joyful December on VIBE.
Vibe Jock Elijah also delivered a message of solidarity to those who joined the Trillion Peso March, stating: “Nakiki-isa po kami dito sa Vibe sa ating Christmas wish, na matapos na ang kurapsyon at maibalik na ang ninakaw sa kaban ng bayan! Ang iyong protesta ay aming din protesta. Lahat ng sangkot, dapat managot. Bonifacio Day pa naman diba? Kaya Sugod na Kapatid at lumaban na sa Korap.”
The night continued to energize viewers with VIBE’s most-loved segments:
OG
• 90s OPM icon Allona opened the segment with her classic hit Someone’s Saying Goodbye, expressing gratitude that her song remains remembered, and thanking fans for requesting it.
UPRISING
• Boy Group AJAA finally performs to the VIBE stage with their comeback track Ako Na. Member Ash extended her appreciation: “Syempre gusto kong magpasalamat sa mga HANIES… ngayon I’m so happy for you guys kasi we get to perform because of you.” The group also teased exciting things ahead for fans.
MAIN VIBE
• Press Hit Play brought the crowd to the Main Vibe stage with Akin Ka Muna Ngayong Gabi, sharing the sentimental inspiration behind the song—wanting to spend a peaceful evening with someone special after a long day.
• From OG to Main Vibe, Join The Club performed their holiday song Every Yakap Mo Pasko. The band reflected on the challenge of writing a Christmas song and grounding it in genuine holiday memories and feelings.
OG (Finale)
• OPM legend Nonoy Zuniga closed the show with Kumusta Ka and Doon. He thanked his loyal listeners and shared advice for rising balladeers: “Establish your own style… Practice nang practice because practice makes perfect.”
