Senator Bong Go appears to be the frontrunner for vice president in the 2028 national elections, according to a WR Numero survey conducted from November 21 to 28 among 1,412 respondents.
Go, former Special Assistant to the President under Rodrigo Duterte, received 19.1% voter preference support. He previously led the 2025 senatorial race with over 27 million votes.
Four other contenders are closely competing for second place: Senator Robin Padilla at 8.5%, former Senator Grace Poe at 8.4%, Senator Bam Aquino at 7.2%, and Manila City Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso at 6.8%.
Other potential VP candidates include Senator Kiko Pangilinan (5%), Senator Imee Marcos (4.3%), Senate Deputy Majority Leader Risa Hontiveros (2.8%), Senator Chiz Escudero (2.6%), Baguio City Mayor Benjie Magalong (1.7%), Senator Mark Villar (1.2%), DepEd Secretary Sonny Angara (0.3%), and DPWH Secretary Vince Dizon (0.2%).
In the 2028 presidential race, Vice President Sara Duterte leads with 33.3%, followed by Senator Raffy Tulfo at 13.4% and former Vice President, now Naga City Mayor, Leni Robredo at 13%.
