MARCOS SATISFACTION RATING SINKS TO RECORD LOW — WR NUMERO

President Bongbong Marcos’ satisfaction rating has fallen to its lowest point since he assumed office, according to the latest nationwide survey by WR Numero.

The November 21–28 poll showed Marcos’ performance satisfaction score dropping to 21%, marking a 14% decline from August 2025 — the pollster’s “steepest decline” since February 2025. Dissatisfaction climbed to 47%, a 15% increase and his highest since December 2023.

WR Numero President and CEO Cleve Arguelles said in a television interview: “You clearly see here that for more Filipinos, in fact, close to the majority, at 47%, they are unhappy with the President’s performance and only a few are now happy or satisfied.”

Arguelles also noted historical parallels, comparing Marcos’ rating to former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo’s 22% in 2008 and 16% in 2010, placing Marcos “between those two records of being an unpopular president post-EDSA.”

Meanwhile, Vice President Sara Duterte registered a 43% satisfaction rating, down from 47% in August. Dissatisfaction slightly rose to 23%, with younger Filipinos expressing the strongest approval. Senior Filipinos showed higher levels of dissatisfaction and uncertainty.

The survey further highlighted stark political divides: 79% of Duterte supporters were satisfied with her performance, while dissatisfaction was high among Marcos supporters (52%) and opposition backers (43%).

“More than half of independents remain unsure of their opinion,” WR Numero reported.

The non-commissioned survey interviewed 1,412 respondents and carries a ±3% margin of error at a 95% confidence level.
