Department of Health (DOH) Secretary Ted Herbosa continues to enjoy the trust of President Bongbong Marcos even as he faces administrative and criminal charges at the Office of the Ombudsman over alleged close ties with a health contractor, Malacañang said Friday, December 5.
Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Undersecretary and Palace Press Officer Claire Castro stated, “For now, it can be assumed that he still enjoys the trust of the President.”
She added, “Let’s see if this was already received by the Ombudsman, and let us leave it to the Ombudsman to look into this,” emphasizing that the case will be handled independently by the appropriate authority.
