Actress Ruffa Gutierrez asked the public for prayers as her father, actor Eddie Gutierrez, undergoes a spinal procedure in Singapore on Wednesday, December 10.
In a social media post, Ruffa shared that the first procedure will be performed at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, with Eddie accompanied by his wife Annabelle Rama and their children Ruffa and Mond.
“We humbly ask for prayers for a successful procedure, steady hands for the doctors, and complete healing for our dad. May everything go smoothly and unfold according to His perfect will. ❤️” she wrote.
Ruffa also expressed gratitude to those praying and supporting the family, including Filipino nurses caring for her father.
“Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who has been praying, supporting, and standing with us through this difficult journey. 🙏🏻🙏🏻 Your prayers, generosity, and kindness mean more to us than words can express. 🤍✨ We truly feel your love. ❤️”
She added a message of encouragement for others facing challenges: “To everyone facing their own battles this season, may God grant you strength, peace, and His healing embrace. From our family to yours, you are not alone. 🌟”
