Last Sunday’s VIBE delivered nothing but festive and jolly energy as the countdown to Paskong Kapatid continued with a night filled with Christmas classics, star-studded performances, and unforgettable OPM moments.
As the holidays draw near, VIBE Jocks and Gen Vs set the tone by performing all-time favorite Christmas hits that instantly delighted Christmas lovers inside the Meralco Theater.
From “Macho Na Si Santa,” “Pasko Na! (Paksiw Pa),” “Happy Merry Christmas,” to “Christmas Bonus,” the crowd danced and sang along, creating a truly joyful atmosphere.
The celebration also included birthday cheers for Vibe Jock Joao and Gen V Gab. Both expressed their gratitude to the VIBE family and shared their wishes for the continued success of the show, thanking everyone for the overwhelming love and support.
Adding excitement to the night was the Manila’s Finest experience, as two cast members graced the VIBE stage. Ashtine Olviga performed her smash hit “Sa Bawat Sandali,” followed by Piolo Pascual with his latest single “Sandalan,” an OST of their upcoming film Manila’s Finest.
Ashtine shared her on-set experience with Piolo, saying, “Sobrang approachable niya and so hindi ako nahirapan mag-adjust and maki-konek sa kanyang kapag nagtatake na kami.” Piolo, in turn, expressed his admiration for Ashtine’s acting skills during filming.
The show then shifted to the much-anticipated VIBE EXPERIENCE, showcasing the best of OPM across generations.
For the OG segment, iconic OPM singer Leah Navarro delivered a nostalgic performance with “Isang Mundo, Isang Awit” and “Ang Pag-ibig Kong Ito.”
She also shared a timely message: “Kung may tunay na pag-ibig tayo sa ating bayan, kailangan ng hustisya din.”
In the MAIN VIBE segment, P-pop powerhouse VXON returned with “Dapat Lang Ako Lang,” ranking 4th. Member Franz thanked VIXIES for their continued support and voting, while C13 shared how special it felt performing at the Meralco Theater as a complete five-member group.
Meanwhile, OPM band It All Started In May claimed the Top Spot with “O’ Kay Tamis,” bringing 80s-inspired vibes to the stage and expressing gratitude for the overwhelming support despite being rookies in the OPM scene.
For UPRISING, VIBE highlighted inclusivity as Drag Race Slaysian royalty Arizona Brandy debuted on the VIBE stage and emerged as Top Uprising Star of the Week with her viral hit “Arizona B (Clean Version).”
She explained her musical choice, saying, “Gusto kong malaman na iba, gusto kong ipresent yung Filipino Culture in a different way… gusto ko para ma-introduce na meron tayong tecno, which is yung Budots.” She also expressed her happiness over the continuous growth of the Philippine drag community.
The night concluded with an OG Finale from Ms. Celeste Legaspi, who performed “Mamang Sorbetero” and “Sa Paskong Darating.”
Before her final song, she shared a heartfelt message: “Kapayapaan, pagmamahalan at katapusa ng korapsyon sa ating bayan. Ikulong na yan mga Kurakot. Yan ang aking mga hilig Sa Paskong Darating.”
Celeste also expressed her gratitude that her music continues to resonate with OPM lovers.
As the Christmas VIBE continues, VIBE announced that voting for Main Vibe and Uprising has been extended for four weeks. Fans are encouraged to vote and defend their favorite OPM and P-pop hits ahead of VIBE’s first LIVE episode on January 11, 2026.
