TV5 is gearing up to deliver a new wave of alternative and original entertainment for Filipino viewers following the conclusion of its content partnership with ABS-CBN.
In a teaser released by the Kapatid Network on Friday, December 20, TV5 revealed several programs set to premiere in the first half of 2026, signaling a clear shift toward strengthening its all-original content lineup.
Among the shows teased by TV5 are:
- The Kingdom Magkaibang Mundo
- My Bespren Emman
- The Good Doctor The Philippine Adaptation
- A Secret in Prague
- Artista Academy
- Project Loki
- Magic Boys
- Isayaw Mo!
- TikTalks
These programs span various genres, from drama and reality competition to music and lifestyle content, underscoring TV5’s push to diversify its offerings and carve out a stronger identity in the highly competitive television landscape.
Also included in TV5’s early 2026 plans is the much-talked-about return of controversial TV host-comedian Willie Revillame to primetime television through his program “Wilyonaryo.”
According to sources, the show is being eyed for the 8:00 PM timeslot, which will be vacated by FPJ’s Batang Quiapo as ABS-CBN content exits TV5.
Starting January 2, FPJ’s Batang Quiapo and other Kapamilya programs are set to move to ALLTV following ABS-CBN’s licensing deal with Advanced Media Broadcasting System (AMBS) to bring the full lineup of Kapamilya Channel to free TV.
With this refreshed programming slate, TV5 aims to assert its independence and prove its capability to compete head-on with major networks by offering new, original, and alternative entertainment tailored for Filipino audiences.
