TV5 has officially unveiled its interim weekend programming schedule starting Saturday, January 3, following the conclusion of its content partnership with ABS-CBN Corporation.
According to an announcement posted on its social media platforms, TV5 confirmed that a “marathon” of the defunct Kapatid morning teleserye Padyak Princess will now occupy the 12 NN slot on Sundays. This replaces the time previously held by ABS-CBN’s Sunday noontime variety show ASAP.
TV5 is also bringing back reruns of its horror anthology Kagat ng Dilim, which will air Saturdays at 8:15 PM and Sundays at 8:30 PM. These slots were previously occupied by the ABS-CBN variety-comedy show Your Face Sounds Familiar.
Additionally, the talk show TikTalks, hosted by Korina Sanchez-Roxas, G3 San Diego, Alex Calleja, Pat-P Daza, and Ruffa Mae Quinto, will return to the airwaves. It will be shown Sundays at 9:45 PM, taking over the slot vacated by Rated Korina.
Meanwhile, ABS-CBN programs including ASAP, Your Face Sounds Familiar, and Rated Korina, along with other Kapamilya shows, will now air on their new free TV home—ALLTV Channel 2.
This follows a licensing agreement between ABS-CBN and Advanced Media Broadcasting System (AMBS), which brings the Lopez-owned Kapamilya Channel to free-to-air television.
