With only a few days left before the 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF concludes, Manila’s Finest continues to receive strong reviews. Produced by MQuest Ventures, Cignal Entertainment, and Spring Films, the film has emerged as one of the festival’s most talked-about entries.
National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts Ricky Lee lauded director Raymond Red’s work, saying: “Maganda at mahalaga ang Manila’s Finest. Shows the ever reliable Raymond Red’s mastery of his craft. Presents Manila as potent character on the verge of doom.”
Former Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief and now Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) General Manager Nicolas Torre III also praised the film, noting its success at the MMFF awards night: “Justified the 8 awards. It’s a very a good movie at sabi ko nga, instructional siya para sa ating publiko.”
The film won eight honors, including Third Best Festival Picture.
Manila’s Finest has been extended in cinemas until January 14, giving audiences more time to catch the acclaimed entry alongside other MMFF 2025 participants.
