The Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) on Wednesday said it has not received any official information or notice from Malacañang regarding the reported schedule to dissolve the body on February 1.
On Tuesday, Senator Imee Marcos claimed she was informed that the ICI would be formally dissolved on the first day of February, more than four months after it was created by President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. through an executive order.
“I understand that there is as very draconian timeline already established that by January 15, three senators and three congressmen are going to be charged. Thereafter, February 1, the ICI will be disbanded,” Sen. Imee said.
However, ICI Executive Director Brian Hosaka told reporters, “We have not received any information or notice regarding this matter from Malacañang.”
