Kapuso comedian Chariz Solomon has hinted that Television and Production Exponents Inc. (TAPE) has yet to settle their talent fees for the now-defunct noontime program “Tahanang Pinakamasaya.”
During an episode of the Kapuso online comedy show “Your Honor” with Buboy Villar and guest Dasuri Choi, Solomon revealed: “‘Di ba nga mag-kasama pa tayo sa ‘Tahanang Pinakamasaya’ noon? ‘Di ba hindi pa nga tayo bayad.”
She added, “Huy, 2026 na TAPE! Baka naman! Hindi na ako mabait, ‘yan ang New Year’s resolution ko.”
The show aired on GMA Network for only three months, struggling with low ratings and weak advertiser support after TAPE lost its copyright battle against the camp of Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon over Eat Bulaga! segments and jingle.
Meanwhile, GMA Network has also filed an estafa case against TAPE Inc. for allegedly failing to pay blocktime revenues owed to the Kapuso Network.
