Is the late-night talk show of Kapamilya comedian and 51st Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) Best Actor Vice Ganda set to return on air?
This question sparked excitement among fans after The Varsitarian, the student publication of the University of Santo Tomas, confirmed that Vice Ganda hinted at the possible return of “Gandang Gabi Vice” during his guest appearance as a speaker at a university forum on January 13 (Tuesday).
Originally premiering in 2011, Gandang Gabi Vice quickly became one of the most-watched late-night talk shows in the country, running for nearly nine years.
Known for its humor, celebrity interviews, and unforgettable viral moments, the show ended in 2020 to give way to “Everybody Sing,” a comedy-singing game show also hosted by Vice during the pandemic.
As of now, ABS-CBN has not issued any formal confirmation regarding the show’s return, but the comedian’s remarks have reignited anticipation among loyal viewers who continue to celebrate the legacy of GGV.
