TV5 is reportedly facing mounting concerns over declining primetime ratings, prompting MediaQuest Holdings Chairman Manny V. Pangilinan to call an emergency meeting with the network’s Program Committee.
According to sources cited by the Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP), Pangilinan is now taking a more “hands-on” role in addressing what has been described as an alarming situation for the Kapatid Network.
The development comes after TV5 terminated its content supply agreement with ABS-CBN Corporation over alleged unsettled obligations, an issue that was later resolved.
As of now, TV5 and MediaQuest Holdings have not released any official statement regarding the matter.
