TV host-comedian and producer Willie Revillame said he did not mind losing in the 2025 senatorial elections, even describing the experience as a personal victory despite placing 22nd in the official results.
Speaking at a press conference for his upcoming game show Wilyonaryo, Revillame reflected on his failed bid for public office.
Kanino ako kakampi?” he said.
He emphasized that politics should be about service, not partisanship.
“For me, ang pulitika, hindi ‘yan pulitika eh. You’re a public servant.
Revillame also recalled his earlier remarks that he did not know much about being a senator, stressing that lawmakers should go beyond simply crafting legislation to truly serve the public.
Despite missing the Magic 12, Revillame said the election loss affirmed that his path lies outside politics.
