Malacañang has rejected allegations by Batangas 1st District Representative Leandro Leviste that individuals linked to the administration supposedly urged him to leave the country and stop releasing evidence on alleged irregularities in infrastructure projects.
Communications Undersecretary and Palace Press Officer Claire Castro brushed off the claims, describing them as dramatic accusations unsupported by proof and not worth the administration’s attention.
Castro emphasized that President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and his team remain focused on governance rather than political noise.
She made clear that the Palace sees no value in responding to what it considers unfounded accusations.
Nakakatawa. Sayang lang ang oras.”
Leviste earlier sought a five-month travel authority, claiming he was allegedly asked by people connected to the administration to go abroad and stop releasing supposed evidence linking officials to anomalous Department of Public Works and Highways projects—claims the Palace has now flatly denied.
