President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has approved the release of an additional ₱7.372 billion to fully fund the 2025 Service Recognition Incentive (SRI) for public school teachers and non-teaching personnel nationwide.
The amount will cover the remaining cash requirements for qualified beneficiaries, ensuring the complete release of the one-time incentive authorized by the President late last year.
According to Communications Undersecretary and Palace Press Officer Claire Castro, the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) has already released the funds.
“Layunin nito na matustusan nang buo ang natitirang cash requirement para sa Fiscal Year 2025 Service Recognition Incentive o SRI ng mga kwalipikadong guro at non-teaching personnel sa buong bansa,” Castro said during a Palace briefing on Tuesday, February 3.
Castro added that the DBM approved the corresponding Notice of Cash Allocation (NCA) on January 27, 2026.
With the additional allocation, qualified teachers and non-teaching staff are now set to receive the full amount of their SRI.
The incentive was authorized under Administrative Order No. 40, issued by Marcos on December 11, granting a one-time Service Recognition Incentive to eligible government employees for 2025.
