Malacañang has confirmed the appointment of Albert Domingo as the new undersecretary of the Department of Health (DOH).
In a post on his social media account, Domingo expressed gratitude to President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., Executive Secretary Ralph Recto, and Health Secretary Ted Herbosa for the trust and confidence extended to him.
“I hope to meet and exceed expectations,” Domingo said, adding that he is ready to contribute to the administration’s national goals of building a stronger and more responsive health care system for all Filipinos.
Domingo’s appointment is expected to strengthen DOH programs and reforms, particularly in advancing quality and affordable health services nationwide.
As undersecretary, Domingo also serves as the official spokesperson of the Department of Health.
