After more than a year away from television, actress Bea Alonzo is set to make her return to the primetime lineup of GMA Network.
Speaking at an event for her new brand endorsement, Alonzo confirmed she remains a Kapuso and is preparing for a new project with the network.
“I’m going back to TV after a year of hiatus. I’m going to start doing a soap, very, very soon, still with GMA,” she said.
Her announcement comes amid speculation that she might follow her longtime mentor, Johnny Manahan — popularly known as Mr. M — who transferred to TV5 last year.
Alonzo was last seen on television in the Kapuso crime-thriller series “Widow’s War,” which aired from July 2024 to January 2025.
