All is set for the upcoming suspense series “The Secrets of Hotel 88,” a joint production of ABS-CBN Studios and GMA Network.
A media conference for the series was held on Friday, February 6, led by cast members who previously rose to fame as housemates of Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Season 1.
Heading the ensemble are Big Winners Mika Salamanca and Brent Manalo, joined by AZ Martinez, Ralph De Leon, River Joseph, Klarisse De Guzman, Esnyr Ranollo, Xyriel Manabat, Josh Ford, Kira Balinger, Dustin Yu, Bianca De Vera, and Will Ashley.
Directed by Henry Quitain and produced by Star Creatives, the series centers on the Fernandez brothers—Gio (Brent Manalo), Martin (Ralph De Leon), and Francis (Will Ashley). The siblings are unexpectedly reunited following the mysterious death of the father they never knew, only to inherit Hotel 88, a once-grand establishment filled with unresolved conflicts and long-buried secrets.
“The Secrets of Hotel 88” marks the fourth co-production venture between ABS-CBN and GMA Network, longtime rivals in television ratings and advertising.
Previous collaborations include Unbreak My Heart, two seasons of Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab, and the airing of ABS-CBN’s noontime show It’s Showtime on GMA’s free-to-air channel.
The series will premiere on television on March 2, Monday, at 9:35 p.m. on GMA Prime, airing after Never Say Die. It will stream earlier on ABS-CBN’s platform iWant starting February 23.
