TV5 Network Inc. and VIVA Entertainment are strengthening their partnership with two new programs set to air on the Kapatid Network in 2026.
Studio VIVA’s popular online series “Ang Mutya ng Section E: The Dark Side” returns for a second season, featuring the rising love team of Andres Muhlach and Ashtine Olviga (AshDres), alongside Rabin Angeles.
Directed by award-winning Petersen Vargas, the new season promises a more emotional storyline and will air on TV5’s weekday primetime block.
The second series, “Project Loki”, produced by Studio VIVA and MQuest Ventures, adapts the Wattpad novel by AkoSiIbarra.
It follows Loki Mendez, a brilliant and mysterious student at Clark University, who, alongside transferee Lorelei Rios and a circle of classmates including his older brother Luthor, uncovers cryptic puzzles and dangerous secrets at the elite QED Club. The suspenseful, emotional series will air on weekends.
Both shows will be available on the VIVA One app, while “Project Loki” will also stream on Cignal Play App starting this February.
These moves aim to boost TV5’s content lineup following the departure of ABS-CBN Studios from the network.
