FOUR NEW MEASURES ADDED TO LEDAC PRIORITY AGENDA

Four additional measures have been added to the Legislative-Executive Development Advisory Council (LEDAC) priority agenda, bringing the total to 52, Ilocos Norte 1st District Representative Sandro Marcos said Tuesday.

The new proposals include the abolition of the travel tax, the Expanded Anti-Online Sexual Abuse or Exploitation of Children Act of 2026, a bill targeting fake news and digital disinformation, and legislation to reset elections in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.

“These are bills that respond to urgent and real concerns of the public… They deserve priority action,” Marcos said, highlighting threats from online abuse, disinformation, and the need for stability in the Bangsamoro.

Marcos added that the House, under Speaker Faustino “Bojie” Dy III, is prepared to act swiftly once the measures move through the legislative process.

The House has already approved 12 LEDAC priority measures on third and final reading.
