BALIGOD LINKS MARCOS TO ₱805-B KICKBACKS

Lawyer Levito Baligod on Tuesday accused President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. of orchestrating the delivery of ₱805 billion in alleged kickbacks to politicians from anomalous flood control projects.

At a press conference in Club Filipino, Baligod presented former security officer Orly Guteza—who previously testified before the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee—as a key witness.

Guteza had earlier claimed “luggages of cash” were delivered to Marcos, linking him to former House appropriations chair and former Ako Bicol Representative Zaldy Co.

Baligod also cited former marines who once worked with Guteza, describing them as willing to testify.

At gusto nilang magpaka-sundalo sa ating bayan,” he noted.

The allegations add to ongoing controversy surrounding flood control projects, with Co remaining a central figure.

Baligod framed the veterans’ involvement as part of a broader effort to expose corruption.
