After spending many years as a talent of GMA Network, actress-singer Rita Daniela has officially moved to VIVA Artists Agency.
The deal was sealed today, February 25, following her contract signing with the talent agency.
In an interview, Daniela clarified the reasons behind her departure from Sparkle, the talent arm of the Kapuso Network, which had been her home for nearly two decades since she started as a child star.
“I really just want to explore new opportunities po talaga ‘coz we all know that Viva has a lot of platforms right now and siyempre, they produce concerts, they have musicals, they do series, which is I heard… Viva Movie Box and Viva One,” the singer-actress said. “And I would really really love to try them all.”
Rita emphasized, however, that she has not completely left GMA Network.
She shared that she remains open to accepting projects with the Kapuso Network, as well as with ABS-CBN and TV5, which currently serves as a content carrier for some of the agency’s programs.
