TV5 is set to revamp its afternoon programming with a stronger and more exciting lineup under its newly branded “Hapon Champion” block, launching on Monday, March 9.
The revamped block will feature the longest-running noontime show Eat… Bulaga! with the Legit Dabarkads delighting viewers from Monday to Friday at 12:00NN and on Saturdays at 11:25AM.
Viewers can also catch the latest updates from Ruth Cabal in the afternoon edition of the Kapatid news program Frontline Express at 2:30PM.
For K-drama fans, TV5 is bringing a strong lineup of back-to-back series.
Sky Castle will air at 3:15PM, followed by the ground-breaking The World of the Married at 4:00PM. Both series were previously available on other Philippine networks and platforms, with The World of the Married airing on Kapamilya Channel and its digital platforms.
Rounding out the K-drama marathon is the Viu-original series Reborn Rich at 4:45PM, marking its first free-TV broadcast in the Philippines.
With this refreshed block, TV5 aims to offer viewers a more dynamic afternoon lineup featuring entertainment, news, and back-to-back K-drama thrills.
