Former senator and boxing icon Manny Pacquiao announced Friday that he is preparing to file multiple complaints against arrested vlogger Norman Mangusin.
In an interview, Pacquiao accused Mangusin of spreading false information and misleading the public.
He added that Mangusin repeatedly invoked his name and fabricated stories for personal gain.
“Mahilig siya mag-name dropping and then gumawa ng story na hindi naman totoo. Para lang sa kaniyang personal gain. Mahirap ‘yun.
Pacquiao did not specify the exact complaints he intends to file, and Mangusin’s camp has yet to respond.
Mangusin was arrested Tuesday by the Philippine National Police–Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) at a hotel in Pasay City over a case of unjust vexation. His bail was set at ₱120,000 for temporary release.
On Friday morning, he was transferred from Camp Crame in Quezon City to Parañaque City Jail following a court order.
