ALLTV GAINS VIEWERSHIP WITH ABS-CBN CONTENT

After years of struggle, free-to-air channel ALLTV2 appears to have cemented its foothold in attracting a larger audience following a successful licensing agreement with ABS-CBN Corporation.

According to January 2026 data from the National Urban Television Audience Measurement (NUTAM), the Villar-owned TV station has surpassed TV5 in the ratings race and is now competing closely with GMA Network’s secondary free-to-air channel, GTV.

Advanced Media Broadcasting System — the parent company of ALLTV — signed a licensing agreement with ABS-CBN Corporation to air the Lopez-owned cable channel Kapamilya Channel on free TV channel 2.

This channel was ABS-CBN’s home for 34 years before the network was denied a new franchise by the House of Representatives during the term of former President Rodrigo Duterte.

Currently, ALLTV airs top-rating ABS-CBN programs such as FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, Roja, What Lies Beneath, It’s Showtime, ASAP, TV Patrol, Your Face Sounds Familiar, and more, boosting the station’s audience share.

Notably, ALLTV has also become attractive to advertisers, with commercial slots during its programs now fully booked — a stark contrast to the past, when advertisers showed little interest in placing ads on the station.
