PBBM TO LAUNCH “DISIPLINA” CAMPAIGN NATIONWIDE

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. announced that the government is set to roll out a nationwide initiative aimed at strengthening discipline among Filipinos across all age groups.

In his latest vlog, Marcos responded to a netizen’s suggestion to promote discipline among the youth, clarifying that the campaign will extend beyond young people to the broader public.

“Kabataan o hindi, kinakailangan talaga na mas malakas na kampanya sa disiplina. Asahan mo na may ilulunsad tayong programa sa mga susunod na linggo. MMDA Disiplina Campaign, ready to rollout na po yan,” the President said.

The initiative, called the MMDA Disiplina Campaign, will be spearheaded by the Metro Manila Development Authority. While full details have yet to be disclosed, the program is expected to focus on instilling public discipline and encouraging responsible behavior.

Marcos previously floated possible measures inspired by other countries, such as Singapore’s chewing gum ban, alongside tougher penalties against online scammers.

The campaign also follows his recent criticism of reckless motorists—often referred to as “kamote” drivers and riders—underscoring concerns over road safety and public order.
