PBBM LEADS TURNOVER OF LEARNING CONTINUITY SPACE IN CEBU

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Monday spearheaded the turnover and inspection of the Learning Continuity Space (LCS) and the rollout of the YAKAP at Kalinga Caravan in Bogo City, Cebu, as part of the government’s post-disaster recovery efforts following the September 2025 Cebu earthquake.

The initiatives aim to sustain education and provide healthcare services to communities affected by the disaster.

Marcos toured Marcelo B. Fernan Polambato Elementary School alongside Education Secretary Sonny Angara to highlight the importance of ensuring uninterrupted learning.

The LCS serves as a temporary facility where students can continue attending classes while damaged school infrastructure undergoes repair or reconstruction.

Meanwhile, the YAKAP at Kalinga Caravan delivers essential medical and social services, including health consultations and assistance programs, to residents in impacted areas.

These efforts form part of the national government’s broader recovery plan for northern Cebu, one of the hardest-hit areas during last year’s earthquake.
