NEW ASSASSINATION CLASSROOM FILM TRAILER RELEASED

WORLDWIDE — A new promotional trailer for Assassination Classroom The Movie: Our Time has been released, offering fans a preview of the upcoming anime film and revealing the newly recorded insert song Machinegun to Rashinban, performed by the in universe unit 3-nen E-gumi Utatan.

The trailer highlights emotional moments and action sequences as the students of Class 3 E reunite with their beloved teacher Koro-sensei, building anticipation ahead of the film’s theatrical debut.

Part of the 10th anniversary project

The film is part of the 10th anniversary celebration for Assassination Classroom, which first aired between 2015 and 2016. The series is based on the manga created by Yusei Matsui.

As part of the anniversary project, the movie compiles previously unadapted material from the manga while also introducing newly animated scenes that further explore the journey of Class 3 E and their extraordinary teacher.

Originally announced in 2025, the commemorative film aims to celebrate a decade of the franchise while revisiting key emotional moments that made the series a fan favorite.

Film staff and theatrical release

The movie is directed by Masaki Kitamura and produced by Lerche, the studio responsible for the original television adaptation.

The film also features the main theme song Teacher, performed by Sora Tomonari.

“Assassination Classroom The Movie: Our Time” is scheduled to premiere in Japanese theaters on March 20, 2026.

Since its debut, Assassination Classroom has earned a global fanbase through its unique blend of action, comedy, and heartfelt storytelling centered on a class of students tasked with assassinating their nearly invincible teacher before he destroys Earth.
