The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) announced that 3,137,948 Filipinos have registered to vote for the 2026 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) as of March 14.

Meanwhile, 6,518 applicants registered through the Special Register Anywhere Program (SRAP) at the COMELEC main office in Intramuros, Manila.
Voter registration for the 2026 BSKE resumed on October 20, 2025 and will continue until May 18, 2026. Registration is open Monday to Sunday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at satellite sites or local election offices.
The registration period covers new applications, transfers, changes of name or status, corrections of entries, reactivation, inclusion, and reinstatement of voter records. COMELEC aims to register 1.4 million new voters nationwide during this period.
In August 2025, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. signed into law the postponement of the BSKE from December 1, 2025 to the first Monday of November 2026, with elections to be held every four years thereafter.
