The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) announced that voter registration in Antipolo City will resume on Monday, March 23, following its suspension during the March 14 special election in the city’s Second District.
Spokesperson John Rex Laudiangco said registration will run until May 18, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Saturday, including holidays.
The poll body will accept applications for:
- New registrants or first-time voters
- Transfer of records (within or from another locality)
- Reactivation, inclusion/reinstatement, correction of entries/change of status
- Transfer from Foreign Service Post to local registry
- Updating of records for senior citizens and persons with disabilities
Laudiangco reminded applicants to bring one valid government-issued ID. He clarified that cedula, barangay ID or certificate, company ID, and police clearance will not be accepted.
Registration had been suspended due to the special election following the December 2025 death of Representative Romeo Acop. His son, Philip Acop, won the seat for Antipolo’s Second District.
