FARMERS FILE LAND-GRABBING COMPLAINT AGAINST EX-SPOX HARRY ROQUE

Farmers from Bataan have lodged a land-grabbing complaint against several individuals, including former Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) confirmed Monday.

NBI spokesperson Palmer Mallari said investigators will first complete the farmers’ sworn statements before gathering records from the Department of Agrarian Reform and the Registry of Deeds.

“Sa dulo na po ipapatawag si Attorney Roque,” Mallari added.

Roque, reportedly seeking asylum in the Netherlands, has not returned to the Philippines.

He also faces qualified human trafficking charges linked to the Lucky South 99 Philippine Offshore Gaming Operations firm.

Authorities had previously canceled his passport in November 2025.
