ABS-CBN BIDS FAREWELL TO ICONIC PBB HOUSE

Hosts, staff, and executives of ABS-CBN gathered on Tuesday, March 24, to formally say goodbye to the iconic Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) house, marking the end of an era for the long-running reality show.

In a Facebook post, ABS-CBN showbiz reporter MJ Felipe confirmed that the program will move to a new home, opening a fresh chapter after more than two decades on air.

Photos from the send-off captured emotional moments with ABS-CBN COO for Broadcast Cory Vidanes, Star Magic head and TV Production chief Lauren Dyogi, PBB Business Unit Head Marcus Vinuya, and hosts Bianca Gonzales-Intal, Robi Domingo, and Alexa Ilacad in attendance.

The last season held in the original house was Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0, a collaboration between ABS-CBN Studios and GMA Network. The house had become a cultural symbol, witnessing countless stories of friendship, transformation, and ambition from housemates—many of whom went on to thrive in showbiz, including Gonzales-Intal, Domingo, Ilacad, Melai Cantiveros-Francisco, Gerald Anderson, James Reid, Ryan Bang, and Kim Chiu.

ABS-CBN confirmed that PBB will continue in a new location, though details of the transfer have yet to be announced.
