PBBM DECLARES SPECIAL NON-WORKING DAYS FOR LOCAL ANNIVERSARIES

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has issued a series of proclamations declaring special non-working days in various parts of the country to mark their respective founding anniversaries.

Through Proclamation No. 1203, April 7 has been designated a special non-working day in Mountain Province to allow residents to take part in anniversary festivities.

In Occidental Mindoro, the municipality of Rizal will observe its founding anniversary on April 6, following Proclamation No. 1202. The date was moved from April 3, which coincides with Good Friday. Similarly, the municipality of Magsaysay will celebrate its anniversary on April 6 under Proclamation No. 1197, also shifted from April 3.

The President likewise declared April 11 as a special non-working day in Dolores, Quezon Province, in celebration of the town’s 191st founding anniversary, through Proclamation No. 1200. Meanwhile, residents of Sulop, Davao del Sur will mark their founding anniversary on April 24, as provided under Proclamation No. 1198.

Executive Secretary Ralph Recto signed Proclamations 1200, 1202, and 1203 on March 26 by authority of the President, while Proclamations 1197 and 1198 were signed earlier on March 23.
